15) No tennis shoes are allowed on pitching mound.
16) No pets or skateboards are allowed on the grounds of the Madison County Recreation Department.
17) Any player is absent from games and./or practices for seven consecutive days due to illness must have a doctor’s excuse before resuming play.
18) Any player is absent due to injury in a game, practice or outside of baseball that requires a doctor’s visit, must get a release to play, in writing, by the doctor before they will be allowed to resume play.

NO parent is allowed to replace a coach absent from that game. Two adult base coaches will be allowed on the playing field. One coach MUST remain in the dugout at all times. · If at any one game, there is only one coach or manager in the dugout, that coach or manager may get one coach from another team or a member of the Board of Directors of the Madison County Little League, to be the dugout coach for that game provided that the umpires and the official form the Board of Directors who is working that game, be notified. No parent may sub for the coach due to the fact that they are not covered under the insurance nor have submitted a “Little League Volunteer application and had a background check performed.

24) The pitcher will be given 8 pitches or 1 minutes from the time the 3rd out is made
to warm up before the start of the half inning. Players need to hustle on and off
the field between innings to speed up the game. If the catcher makes the last out in the inning, then extra time will be given. If a new pitcher comes in at the start of the inning or during the inning, they will be given extra time determined by the umpire.
JUNIOR LEAGUE
SENIOR LEAGUE
1. Game time limit is 105 minutes. Time limits will be enforced after 4 innings have
been completed. After the clock has expired, that inning will be complete.
A game CAN end in a tie.

We will be using the optic yellow softball in all age divisions. Therefore, white bats are allowed in all divisions. If we ever use white softballs, then white bats will be disallowed.

We will be using the optic yellow softball in all age divisions. Therefore, white bats are allowed in all divisions. If we ever use white softballs, then white bats will be disallowed.
SENIOR LEAGUE
1) Game time limit is 90 minutes. Time limit will be enforced after 4 innings have been completed. After the game clock has expired, that inning will be completed. A game CAN end in a tie.
2) If game will be allowed to continue until the time limit runs out even if the game has been decided due to the 7 run rule or due to the home team is leading and a new inning will not start. This allows the kids more playing time. Once the time limit is out, we will finish that batter and then the game will be called.
3) Pool players are to bat last and play the outfield. Pool players may not pitch. Minimum playing time for pool players: 9 defensive outs and one at bat. The pool player must start the game and remain in the game until he has fulfilled his required minimum playing time before he can be removed from the game.
4) Continuous batting order will be used.
5) When any infielder has control of the ball in the infield grass and the progress of the runners have been stopped, runners can no longer advance.
